From the elegant dresses and sparkling jewels, to the fabulous home décor, objets d’art, and the lavish lifestyle indulgences, the pages of the Christmas Book 2020 from Neiman Marcus showcase a curated collection of extraordinary items and unparalleled experiences.
Each page generates ideas for heightening the joys of holiday season gift-giving and stimulates dreams and aspirations for greatness. Ultimately, this year’s catalog is an enthralling treat of imaginative photography, exquisitely alluring layout design, and engaging narratives.

One of my personal favorites in the book is the gorgeous Gorski Russian Sable, which happens to be a perfect fit for me. I know this because I went out (wearing my protective mask and maintaining social distance, of course) and I enjoyed the safe in-store experience of trying it on.(Pausing here for a shout out to my wonderful associate Ashley at Neiman Marcus – Houston Galleria! Thanks for sharing the magic!)
The fabulous Neiman Marcus personalized gifting services also include virtual gift advisors, a gift-finder quiz, and virtual and curbside visits with Santa.

I also love to linger on the pages of jewelry, gazing at the abundant eye candies of diamond carats, gleaming gems, lustrous pearls, and every gold karat.

Support from the heart
This extravagant retail reverie has intentional social purpose, too, through the Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation. Up to $10,000 from the sale of each of this year’s Fantasy Gifts will be donated to the foundation to continue its commitment of charitable support for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Over the years, the HNMF has donated more than $500,000 – the equivalent of 500,000 healthy after-school snacks or 50,000 hours of homework help – to clubs in communities across the U.S.
Admirably, three purveyors of the Fantasy Gifts have made nonprofit pledges beyond their contributions to the HNMF: Jonathan Adler is donating an additional $10,000 to the organization Aid to Artisans, Sheldon Chalet will give $5,000 to the Denali Education Center, and the Jam Master Jay Foundation will receive support from Keith and James.
Spreading holiday cheer with diversity and inclusion
I’m proud to find Black-owned brands in the Christmas Book 2020, including Keith and James and Akola. I also applaud the beautiful diversity of models pictured throughout the book.

These cues have powerful social and cultural resonance that aligns with the marketplace dimension of the Neiman Marcus Group’s openly discussed equity and inclusion journey.
(Note: The three pillars of this journey center on the company’s workforce, workplace, and marketplace.)
